Nurturing Fibres Eco-Cotton is a versatile cotton yarn, ideal for both knitting and crochet. It is a DK and is wonderfully soft! Eco-Cotton is dyed in small dye lots; occasionally, we have mixed dye lots available. We will always do our best to match colours, if they are very different, we will email you before we send.
Nurturing Fibres is based in South Africa. Their Eco Cotton is locally grown, and while not certified organic, it has been farmed with these principles in mind. It is hand-dyed by Nurturing Fibres while having the least amount of impact on the environment. Borehole water is used in the dye baths, which has been heated by solar power. The water used is then ph balanced and used to irrigate olive trees.
